Big Fox River Walleye may be the Worst Kept Secret in the Fishing World.
Some anglers may not yet know that The Fox River is back. But WE do! And so do many anglers who make the trek to De Pere, Wisconsin. The once heavily polluted rush of murky water that produced little more than carp and catfish, is now booming with life thanks to conservation efforts and stocking programs. Catch and release has also played a huge role in the river's miraculous comeback and now game fish like walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie, and the mighty muskie, live abundantly in a river that has made a rebound to a very healthy fishery.
BOBZILLA.tv correspondents Pat Elza and Mike Davis hit the river near Green Bay with great success. We've got the photos that prove The Fox River is once again a thriving and productive environment where anglers can experience great success - and fun - in a body of water that was once upon a time left for dead.
