This wild bunch was the hardest group to photograph - by far!!!
It was worth the wait finding a moment still enough for a camera click though.
The new LPZ ape house made its debut in the film "Return to Me" with David Duchovney ("The X Files") and Minnie Driver ("Good Will Hunting"). It cost $26-million to build and has spectacular views of downtown in one direction and Chicago's beautiful lakefront in the other. The gorillas were tucked away the day I visited and I wasn't happy about that, but these guys/gals certainly made up for it.
I hope you enjoy one of the most visually interesting exhibits I visited.
